Flower farmer

I used to sit in front of the typewriter for hours

Pot of coffee, pack of smokes, pain pills

Trying to come up with

The meaning of life

Day after day - night after night

I guess it helped some

These days when I'm tilling up the garden

Or planting seeds

Or marveling at my son and wife

The meaning of life doesn't seem to be

Such a pressing question
